Wow…I haven’t done one of these crystal posts in a while! So…I’ve been working with Lapis Lazuli stone for the past month or so and it definitely took me by surprise…
I started getting drawn to it about a year ago. I knew it had roots in ancient Egypt. Apparently when a Pharaoh or high ranking Egyptian would die, they would replace their heart with a scarab beetle made of Lapis Lazuli.
(The scarab beetle is one of the Egyptian symbols I often see during meditation or right when I wake up from a lucid dream…🤷♀️)
The Egyptians would also place little Lapis Lazuli stone “people” in the tombs of royals to act as servants in the afterlife. Lapis Lazuli was definitely seen as a mystical stone…plus it’s so pretty 😮.
So…I finally bought a piece at a crystal shop here in Toronto called Alternative Thinking.
I didn’t know what Lapis Lazuli stone was supposed to heal or what it’s supposed to be good for when I bought it (and when I do these crystal experiments, I try not to read about the crystal beforehand so I can give you an honest report on the energy and patterns I notice with it.)
I definitely expected it to be more flowy and…”nice” than it was! I think because it’s blue, I expected it to be this zen kinda “no worries” stone, but it actually ended up being kind of pushy 😮! Not to the extent that malachite is, but it definitely harbours a strong, forward-moving energy.

Energy Profile:
The energy of Lapis Lazuli stone is very exciting and uplifting, but also has that push forward to it. It’s almost as if you feel someone is constantly beside you, urging you to “move forward” and do the things you’ve always wanted to do.
Like I mentioned, malachite has a similar pushy energy, but Lapis Lazuli is more “light” and “exciting”. Malachite is kind of like “here are all the traumas you need to face on a silver platter, have fun…try not to cry 😛”.
The phrase “git ‘er done” perfectly suits the energy of Lapis Lazuli stone. It’s like…what am I waiting for? Why not just…do it right NOW?!

So…Lapis Lazuli stone has an exciting forward-moving energy to it as well as an “upwards” energy. I feel more “pulled up” (not in a graceful way, but more in a direct, urgent way) and more connected to the higher realms (specifically ETs).
Things that might happen while working with Lapis Lazuli stone:
You might find that your dreams are more clear and stable
On the first night of sleeping with my Lapis Lazuli stone, I had the most crystal clear dreams, I could see everything super well and this isn’t uncommon with certain crystals.
If you read my free Lucid Dreaming/Astral Travel ebook, you will see that I recommend a certain crystal for lucid dreaming. Lapis Lazuli would also be good for stabilizing lucid dreams.
Sleeping with a Lapis Lazuli stone kind of close to your head will give a stabilizing affect to your dream (if you put it under your pillowcase right by your head you will almost feel like you’re wearing a pair of glasses that are helping you see better, like a video game, it’s crazy!).
So…be prepared for a clearer picture (and sound) quality in your dreams 🌌 and if you are stressed or are having nightmares, put it away! Do not sleep with it. I had a nightmare about an animal testing lab one night and it was crystal clear and not very pleasant. No one wants to see a mutant rabbit in HD 😐.
***I would definitely recommend you use it with caution (especially at night while you sleep) if you are in a weak place energetically. I only sleep with these kinds of crystals when I feel my energy field is strong and I’m in good health.

You might get contact from beings in other realms (specifically ETs)
Lapis Lazuli brought on a few interesting ET-related experiences for me…on the first night I slept with it, reptilians and “cat people” showed up in my dream (which was crystal clear). This is another strange thing that happened, but I found that whenever I had my Lapis Lazuli stone on me, I would get a whole flood of beings trying to get through.
I definitely believe that Lapis Lazuli helps open up the pathways to communicating with inter-dimensional beings, specifically ETs who might have roots on earth or have a specific connection to you.
Also, this happened:
I was just minding my own business one day, doing work on my computer when a very loud voice started speaking to me through clairaudience (this is my primary clairability with clairvoyance not far behind), I knew it wasn’t an earthbound human spirit, it just had a different quality to its personality and the way it spoke. It said: “they have landed” and when I asked who, they said “blue eyes“…this made me think of the Nordic beings/Pleiadians.
These guys…
There was an urgency in the voice and they were saying “go look for them” and things like that. I don’t usually get contact from any kind of spirit or being unless I am in meditation so the fact that this came through without being in a deep, meditative state was very surprising! ***This part of Lapis Lazuli WAS cool for awhile, but I actually started to put it away for long periods because I didn’t want the contact I was getting. It felt like someone was always trying to get close to me and contact me and that’s good if you’re ready for it, but not all the time…you know?
All of the things you’ve been meaning to do…you’ll start doing
Lapis Lazuli stone has this strange power to make you start crossing things off your to-do list, and I don’t mean boring things…but things you’ve been kind of apprehensive to do that you know are good for you (like sending someone an important message, or signing up for dance lessons…).
It’s very action-oriented…I sent a message to someone I’ve been meaning to send for like…months. It only took a few days with a Lapis Lazuli stone to start loosening up about it and just do it! I also posted a picture on my social media that I was apprehensive about for a while, but then I started thinking “just do it man, nothing to lose”🤙.
When I would normally think of doing something and then not…I’m actually “doing it” this time. I could totally see someone writing “Lapis Lazuli made me do it” on a bumper sticker 😅.
You will NOT feel ungrounded
It could be due to the fact that I was using a pretty small, tumbled piece of Lapis Lazuli (a bigger piece may have caused more symptoms of ungroundedness) but there was never a time where I felt light-headed or ungrounded with this stone (which often happens with stones that change the quality of my dreams and get me closer to inter-dimensional beings).
I do notice an airy, upward motion when I feel into the energy of Lapis Lazuli, but for some reason, I never felt overwhelmed by it. I was always pretty balanced and “in my body” when I used it. The only reason I had to put it away was because of the amount of messages I was receiving through clairaudience.
Like I said, it could be a “size” thing, I would be curious to see how a larger piece would affect me (and I will note that small pieces of blue calcite and amethyst will cause me to feel ungrounded after awhile) but Lapis Lazuli seems pretty safe 🙏🏻..
***I also received a message about Lapis Lazuli from my guides saying it doesn’t target a specific chakra in the body but works on whatever energetic center is the weakest at the time, which resonates with my experience. Thought that was interesting…
Who should try Lapis Lazuli?
People who are in a healthy, happy state and have strong energetic fields!
If you aren’t having nightmares and feel strong within your energy field, then Lapis Lazuli could be really great to experiment with. You might get some clearer messages from your guides (or even ETs…?) whether that be psychically or in your dreams ✨.
Also..if you have this whole list of things you really want to do because you know it will make you thrive and be a better person…Lapis Lazuli could be that final push to get you to actually put those dreams into action: hit send…buy the coaching program…sign up for the improv class…ask the hot guy/girl out.
I can see Lapis Lazuli being really good for manifestation too. A lot of people have trouble taking that final action step to bring their manifestations into reality…Lapis Lazuli could definitely help with that 💙.
